A Paragraph Describing Your Professional Background: I spent the first seven years of my career proudly representing indigent criminal clients as a public defender. During my time in public service I successfully litigated thousands of criminal cases including traffic, DUI, domestic battery, drug, and murder. Additionally, I was honored to serve as the Director of the Stephenson County Drug Court. I now work for a wonderful full-service law firm in the heart of Chicago’s Loop. I recently studied international criminal law at the prestigious United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute in Torino, Italy.
A Paragraph Describing Your Interests When You Aren’t Billing or Blogging: I enjoy hiking and camping in the great outdoors. I also have a passion for world travel. I spend as much time as possible with my beautiful nieces and nephews.
Best Thing About Being a Lawyer: The opportunity to defend the Constitution and help individuals and their families.
