A Paragraph Describing Your Professional Background: Before pursuing a legal career, Jack was an aspiring history nerd who worked with special collections archivists to preserve academic files of noteworthy philosophy and history scholars. In law school, Jack was a member of Loyola’s Intellectual Property Moot Court competition team, and a member of the Corboy Mock Trial Team, where he collected several individual and team awards for trial advocacy.
A Paragraph Describing Your Interests When You Aren’t Billing or Blogging: Litigator by day; dog dad, gym rat, and dive bar dweller by night; Jack spends his non-working hours running, cycling, and exploring the best and worst taps Chicago has to offer. When not at the office, you can find him on the lakeshore path or a music venue.
Best thing about being a lawyer: The clients. My family is blue collar and I worked labor jobs every summer growing up. Representing contractors, developers, and craftsmen now is a privilege, because of the shared background and family history.
