With hybrid trials currently permissible in Illinois, virtual jury trials may or may not make their way to our circuit courts. Yet in many other jurisdictions, they’re already the new normal. At a new March 12 seminar, learn from Judge Karin Crump of Texas, an early adopter of virtual jury trials, and trial consultant Patricia Kuehn on the state of virtual trials in Illinois. The pair will discuss best practices, issues and concerns, and offer suggestions for navigating remote jury selection and jury trials.
