Goals and Objectives for the 2018 – 2019 Year: (1) educate the legal community on emerging environmental and energy law issues; (2) broaden base of committee members across government, non-profit, and private sector lawyers; (3) collaborate with the CBA’s Environmental Law Committee.
Featured Speakers or Seminars: Last year featured speakers from the City of Chicago Law Department, Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Illinois Pollution Control Board, U.S. EPA Region 5, Natural Resources Defense Council, Environmental Law & Policy Center, Earthjustice, Citizens Utility Board, and Schiff Hardin LLP. Last year’s seminar was titled, “New Administration, New Priorities: Views on Trump Administration Environmental Policy Updates.”
